The complication of new features may often create non-function of technological devices. An abundance of features may also hide improvements made to existing features. The care that should be taken to not disrupt the consumer with new features, that are many times unwanted but often provided, should be extreme as to ensure that both new and existing consumers can enjoy a product. This should especially be the case when consumers are not allowed to decide if the feature will be added to the product.
