The willingness of citizens to participate in the response to the health pandemic has been an exercise in the power of law. Das (2018) explain law has power through obligation, force, and authority. The cooperation of citizens in participating in the measures necessary throughout the pandemic demonstrates the adherence to obligation in addressing the crisis. Koffi (2021) views a philosophical path to an ecological focus through Stoic philosophy which serves to live in harmony with nature. Stoic philosophy may also represent the willingness of citizens to live in harmony with one another.
